A French-named house whose whole position is a refusal: **there is no case in this shop and nothing here is for sale.** The name promises luxury and the shop declines to sell any — what it sells is the labour of moving your stone into something wearable. Everything it works on arrived in somebody's pocket, usually in a bank envelope or a tin, and it leaves in the same hands. That turns a jewellery site away from sparkle and toward provenance. Almost every piece brought in is unwearable — not damaged, just wrong. A 1930s cluster sized for a woman four inches shorter than her granddaughter. The stone is fine; the setting has outlived its person.

- Gloock — a very high-contrast display serif with heavy vertical stress and hairline horizontals. Rare, slightly severe, and at 296px it looks engraved rather than printed, which is exactly the register. Karla 300/400/600 for body: a grotesque with faintly odd, humane letterforms that keeps the page from tipping into heritage pastiche.
- Cursor — The descending stone
- - The descending stone (above). - Facet cursor. A rhombus outline that scales to 1.55 and gains a second inner facet on approach — a stone opening up under a loupe. - Glint canvas. Twenty-six four-point stars that bloom to a hard peak and vanish, using e = sin(t·π)² rather than a sine, so each one flashes rather than pulses; then it reseeds at a new position. Three depth bands. It is diamond fire, and no other field in the library uses a cross-stroke mark or a reseeding lifecycle. - THE CLASP — a heading mechanism used by no other build. The house drop-and-rotate entrance is not used here at all. Instead: - Entrance: every letter starts spread outward by dist × 118px and closes inward. The outer letters have furthest to travel, so their delay is 280 + dist × 300ms — they arrive last, and the word shuts like a setting closing on a stone. No Y drop, no rotateX, no blur. - Idle: a specular sweep. A band of light crosses the wordmark left to right on ((t×0.17) mod 1.75) − 0.34; each character's normalised position is compared against it and letters within 0.20 are brightened by up to 0.62 and lifted 4px, squared for a hard edge. Light moving across metal — not a sine bobbing the type. - Scroll: the word tightens inward (−open × dist × 3.4vw) rather than opening outward, and rises as it goes.
