Short, because there is not much to say. Scura collects what it needs to sell you a template and answer your email, and nothing else. There are no advertising cookies and no tracking pixels.

01Who is responsible
GJ Jansen van Vuuren, trading as Scura from South Africa, decides how the data described here is handled. Contact gj@scura.studio about anything on this page.
02What is collected, and why
- Your account. Email address, and a session so you stay signed in. Needed to give you access to what you bought.
- Your purchase. What you bought, when, and whether it is paid. Needed to run the account and to keep records the law requires.
- The enquiry form. Your name, email, optionally your company, a budget range and your message. Needed to reply to you.
Card details are never collected or seen. Payment happens on PayFast or Yoco, and only the result comes back.
03Analytics, and why there is no cookie banner
Traffic is measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and collects no personal data. That is why this site has no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.
There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no session recording and no cross-site tracking.
04Who else touches it
- Cloudflare — hosting, the database and analytics.
- PayFast and Yoco — taking payment. They handle card data, not Scura.
- Resend — sending email, including enquiry notifications.
Each holds data under its own terms. Nothing is sold, rented or shared with anyone for advertising, ever.
05How long it is kept
Account and purchase records are kept while the account exists, and afterwards only as long as tax and accounting rules require. Enquiry emails are kept while the conversation is live and deleted when it is clearly over.
06Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email gj@scura.studio and it gets done. There is no form and no fee.
Buyers in the UK and EU have these rights under the UK GDPR and the GDPR, and South African users under POPIA. The answer is the same either way: ask, and it happens.
07Where the data lives
Scura operates from South Africa and its infrastructure runs on Cloudflare’s global network, so data may be processed outside your country. The processors named above are used precisely because they carry the safeguards that permit this.
08Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change that materially affects how your data is used will be told to account holders directly rather than quietly published.
Questions about any of this go to gj@scura.studio. A real person answers.
