Start with footage
Every template begins with a piece of hero film — a watch turning, a hot dog on a tray, fog moving through pines. Nothing is designed in the abstract.
What this is
Ask any model for a landing page and you get the same landing page. A dark hero, a gradient, three rounded cards, a pricing table. Competent, instant, and completely forgettable — because it is the statistical average of every landing page ever made.
Scura is the opposite trade. Forty pages built one by one, each committing hard to a single idea, each with details a model would never think to add unless you told it exactly what to say. Which is what you are actually buying — the telling.

How each one is made
Every template begins with a piece of hero film — a watch turning, a hot dog on a tray, fog moving through pines. Nothing is designed in the abstract.
The colours are sampled from that footage rather than picked from a swatch library, which is why a template never looks bolted onto its own hero.
A display face with actual character, paired with something quiet enough to read. A sign-painting face for a hot dog shop. A high-contrast serif for couture.
The last five percent that makes a page feel made. Mustard that squiggles. A torch that finds the page in the dark. A pencil that shades as it moves.
Why the prompt matters more than the file
Most template shops sell you a file. The moment your brand is not the fictional brand it was built for, you are stuck editing CSS you did not write.
Every Scura template ships with the working prompt that produced it. Change the business, the palette, the tone — paste it into Claude and get your own version, built the same way. The file is the demonstration. The prompt is the tool.
You also get the hero video prompt, so the footage is yours to regenerate too.
Who makes them
GJ Jansen van Vuuren — a content and design specialist working with brands across the UK and UAE. Scura started as a way to stop rebuilding the same landing page for every client, and turned into a library worth selling.
