The concept

*In camera* is the film term for an effect that happened in front of the lens rather than after it. That is the whole brand: a two-hundred-litre tank, optically flat glass, and an unreasonable amount of patience. The pitch is not nostalgia — it is that simulation has become good in a *recognisable* way, and a real fluid does something on take nine that nobody would have thought to key. The clip is literally a reel of phenomena: a gold pendulum crossing a plasma column, pigment blooming in water, a body dividing under backlight, combustion running along a grain. So the site is a folio of numbered plates — designation, recorded conditions, and a note on why it was difficult.

Typeface: Spectral 400/600/italic — a serif drawn for screen reading with slightly compressed, scientific proportions. It sets the plate numerals in Roman (I–IV) and carries every italic Latin designation. Manrope 300/500/700 for body: a geometric sans that stays quiet next to the serif and holds up in the small tabular condition lists.
Cursor — The moving accent: - The moving accent (above). - Loupe cursor. A ring with a crosshair; over a specimen the ring scales to 1.9 and the crosshair shrinks to 0.4 — a lens opening onto the sample. - Ripple canvas. Fifteen expanding circular wavefronts in three depth bands, each fading on (1-r)² as it grows, stroked in the live accent which is lerped per frame. Not petals, embers, dust, caustics, light shafts or spray — the only field in the library made of expanding rings rather than travelling particles. - Per-character heading — staggered outward-in entrance, idle sine, scroll offset from centre.
