The concept

*Drydown* is the perfumer's word for what is left on skin at hour six — the part that skin chemistry has finished, that cannot be reproduced on a blotter or in a shop, and that is therefore the only part that is actually yours. That gives the house its entire position: nobody buys a fragrance for the first ten minutes, and yet almost everything on the market is composed for exactly that window, because that is the moment of purchase. This house composes backwards — base first, then a heart that has to earn its way down to it, then, last and reluctantly, an opening.

Typeface: Cormorant Garamond 300/400/italic — a very high-contrast Garamond whose *light* weight is what makes it work at 242px. Most display faces get heavier as they scale; this one gets more delicate, which is exactly right for a house arguing against loudness. Jost 300/400/500 for body: a geometric sans in the Futura lineage, quiet and slightly cool against the warm serif.
Cursor — Sillage: - Sillage (above). - Vapour canvas. Only eleven blobs, each up to 42% of the viewport, drifting *upward* very slowly with a sin breathe on radius. Crucially it thickens as you descend the page — opacity scales by 1 + depth × 0.55 and velocity by 1 − depth × 0.45, so the air literally gets heavier and slower as you move from top notes into the base. Nothing else in the library changes its atmosphere by scroll depth. - A slower everything. The character stagger is 54ms (against 34–44ms elsewhere), the entrance blur is 13px, the scroll lerp is .062 rather than .075, and the idle sine runs at .36 instead of .5+. Read side by side with any other build, this one exhales. - Per-character heading — same architecture, tuned soft: 11vw push, 17° yaw, −170px depth.
